We went a hundred years back in time again for the Belle Epoque style anniversary of the Antwerp Zoo. Costume including accessories and undergarnments were made by me, pictures by various photographers.

Swamp Witch

A while ago I found this beautiful place very close to where I live, and I was lucky to find a photographer who wanted to work magic with me there. All costume pieces are from my own wardrobe: both headpieces, the golden corset and the tribal belt were handmade by me. Thanks to Darkashter/ Lilith Vanderstorme for shooting and processing!

Mystery and Magic with Maskarada Masks

This wonderful collaboration between Ilse from Maskarada Masks, Gabie from Dageraad Fotografie and me was quite magical…

A Steampunk day in the Park

A couple of weeks ago the lovely Theresia Airheart (also known as La Dutchessa) had an interview for regional television. Reason enough for her to invite some Steampunks and have a picnic in the beautiful Park Sonsbeek. Some photographic evidence of my Steampunky self being there:

‘May the cakes be ever in your flavour’

Marie Antoinette meets Effie Trinket. They eat spacecake and get run over by a toy delivery truck, then have a baby together. Now let me eat cake!

Life’s not all black and white!

Together with La Dutchessa and Patrick I travelled back to the time where colour hadn’t been invented and all life events were accompanied by live piano music. We put a real life instagram filter on ourselves and this is what our silent film looked like:
